Check out what everyone is saying about Chas Pippitt and the I.T.S. Baseball Certified Team…

Antonio Belmonte (Parent), Chicago, Illinois, 3 mos working with Chas, High School, Son is 17

What kind of swing success have you experienced comparing BEFORE working with Chas and AFTER…are there hitting statistics available?

“We have only been working with Chas for about 3 months in the fall, down in Jupiter against guys being clocked at 92 mph I noticed Stefano had no problem catching up to the ball and actually ending up being early on many fast balls due to his training with Chas that has significantly increased his bat speed, now we are working on letting the ball get deep.  In terms of power Stefano is hitting the ball as far and as hard as he did with metal in the spring noting we are using wood in the fall. ”

What impressed you the most about Chas or his I.T.S. Baseball Team?

“Character, genuine concern of your child, a personal interest in helping your son achieve his goals, outstanding communication and I have not even started to speak about his program or his resistance bat. I have been fortunate enough to have had top hitting instructors that worked for Professional MLB teams and or Played MLB work with my son since he was 8.

Along the way my son dominated yet as he became older he stopped taking lessons and began changing his swing experimenting with new stances, strides and hand positions that still allowed him to succeed in high school but limited his ability to reach that next level of hitting. One day I figured if he did not want to take lessons at least I could get him a hitting tool to work with so I stumbled on a web site (The Starting Lineup Store.com) that rated Chas’s Drive Developer as a legitimate hitting tool. I called and ordered the Drive Developer.

After ordering the Drive Developer Chas would send video of exercises and drills he wanted us to use also discussing his services to Anyalized Video via The Power Chalk Web Site so we took his offer and began the online lesson program. Once I started to receive the training videos for the Drive Developer and the Chalk Talk video analysis of Stefano’s swing I knew this type of training was at a different level than what we had experienced previously, I was cautious of what we were being told to do worried about how it would affect Stefano’s swing yet everything I was being shown on video made sense, yet I still had some concern.

Fortunately I had compiled a lot of video of my son over the years and in reviewing Chas’s techniques via some old home run videos I noticed on the home run swings that I had previously taped bits and pieces of what chas was teaching were evident in the swing so we went forward without reservation. Quickly being the main person throwing BP for my son for the last 8 years something was beginning to happen, he was getting to balls quicker (too quick) the ball was jumping off the bat so fast I was having problems keeping my body protected behind the L screen and this distinct sound of Back Spin that was buzzing over my head.

Clearly Chas is at another level in terms of Knowledge and training, I believe he is teaching techniques that you do not see at the High School level and possibly beyond. His ability to Anyalize a swing on video is beyond any program I have see in schools and on the Internet at costs of $1,000 and up. Chas would communicate quickly and return the lesson with tips and homework on how to correct the areas he noticed needed improvement in 2 ways, one actually show you on the video and two send exercise video to correct the issue. Yet the one thing I have not touched on is the ability of using Chas’s program and letting the Chalk Talk speak for you!

If your a parent who has been involved training your son at times it becomes a fine line trying to explain something you think he needs to work on, with Chas it is on video, you can see it, it’s “black and white” not an opinion it becomes factual which makes the process of identifying and correcting that much easier!”

Have you been to any scouting or showcase camps before and after working with Chas?  If so, what was the difference in response?

“This fall at the PG WWBA Stefano was mentioned in the scout blogs and invited to the International Power Showcase in AZ by the promoter who was also at the WWBA scouting power hitters.”

How fast of a swing turnaround did you experience with Chas?

“Within a month assuming you work on the exercise Chas recommends for your son you will see a clear and significant improvement.

In terms of investment both the itsbaseball lessons with Chas and the Drive Developer are “no brainers” , if your son wants to succeed at the lower levels and High School or beyond it’s a must, if you want to save THOUSANDS in college tuition invest in this program early and I would be willing to bet many of those scouts at the showcases will see this training in your sons swing and the sound of the ball comming off his bat, and that more times then not will translate in interest and a reason to scout your son.”

What kind of swing success have you experienced comparing BEFORE working with Chas and AFTER…are there hitting statistics available?

“The Drive Developer plays a big part in understanding the movements needed to have a proper sequencing of the swing. Had a few aha moments already with some of my players. It makes all the effort sooo
worth it!!!!”

What impressed you the most about Chas or his I.T.S. Baseball Team?

How fast of a swing turnaround did you experience with Chas?

“I have worked with 9 Little League players so far for two sessions and the progress is amazing. The parents have sent me emails stating how pleased they are and I owe it all to Chas and I.T.S. Baseball.  Some of these players played fall ball and are all hitting for more power and average, and we are only in the early stages of the ITS experience.”

Brynton Goynes, (Parent), Katy, Tx, TEXAS PREMIER, 3 Mos with Chas, 14 year old…

What kind of swing success have you experienced comparing BEFORE working with Chas and AFTER…are there hitting statistics available?

“After my son was taught 3 different swings in 2 years, I decided to do my own research.  He was told to do everything from pulling the knob, to Lateral Charlie Lau, you name it.  He went from a clean up hitter before last year, to brief moments of greatness, to struggling to make contact for the last 2 months of the season.  Four years prior, he had been able to just athletically get through it, but as we moved in the 13u Premier Ranks In Texas, the inconsistencies in teaching and holes in his swing began to eat him alive.  I started to check out the swings that were being taught and used at the highest levels, and they featured alot of the same elements.  The barrel seemed to move rearward, and attack the strike zone flat, and hitters swung the barrel, and hit the ball hard out front when possilble.  This made sense to me. ”

What impressed you the most about Chas or his I.T.S. Baseball Team?

“I think his understanding of the swing is fantastic, but what sets him apart, is the drills he comes up with to get the player to feel what he is asking them to do.  He breaks the swing down into its parts, and teaches it in the correct progression.  I think those are th 2 most important parts of teaching the swing. ”

How fast of a swing turnaround did you experience with Chas?

In my search, I came across the ITS baseball site and the Baseball Hitting Rebellion website, and it seemed to be teaching that some of those same swing keys.  I started by purchasing a drive developer from Chas in August so he could start to get his swing grooved, and strengthen the new swing muscles.  In September we did our first assessment, then another in October, and again in November.  We did mostly the drive developer drills on the site a couple times a week, and some other drills that Chas added in.  We didn’t even hit a ton of balls, at first, because we were building from the ground up and working on the progression of the swing, and learning the order that the muscles needed to fire.

Over the last month or so, we have started hitting off the tee and soft-tossing, and i am amazed about how many things he is doing so much better in a short amount of time.  I don’t have statistics yet, because we have not started to play again yet, but I do have some videos comparing the progress, that I think one would agree show quite a stark improvement in bat speed, and use of the lower body.  I will update you when we have more stats.

How fast of a swing turnaround did you experience with Chas?

“Started to see improvement after a few lessons. The weekly lessons drive continued improvement in the students swing from both a consistency, power, and ability to guide the ball to a location on the field. At the age our son is at, its all about keeping it fun and interesting. The customized approach the ITS Baseball staff takes has be an important factor in achieving that.”

What impressed you the most about Chas or his I.T.S. Baseball Team?

“To be honest what impresses me most is his knowledge of hitting and his work ethic to help my son. He has shown the ability to analyze his swing and determine what needs improvement. Most instructors or coaches might be able to point to something wrong but don’t have the solution and necessary drills to fix it. Chas DOES!”

What impressed you the most about Chas or his I.T.S. Baseball Team?

“We were first drawn to Chas because of his ability to communicate and relate to the kids. He was quickly able to develop a chemistry which motivated my sons to listen and work hard for him. Chas has a good knowledge of hitting and understands that it is important to maximize the strengths each individual hitter possesses while minimizing his weaknesses. He doesn’t coach a “cookie cutter” style. He holds his students accountable in the cage, in the classroom, on the field, and in character. He coached my sons as boys and he has mentored them as young men. They continue to develop as hitters and pitchers succeeding at the highest levels as a result of Chas’ dedication and the team at ITS Baseball. ”

Have you been to any scouting or showcase camps before and after working with Chas?  If so, what was the difference in response?

“Marked improvement after working with Chas. Rated as a Power Hitter with Div 1 potential. Consistently performed well in the BP portions of the showcases which later translated to success in the scrimmages. ”

How fast of a swing turnaround did you experience with Chas?

“Swing is something that requires continued work to improve. Focus on the ball improved quickly. Technique improved over the first 6 months. After a year, my sons were able to hit consistently well. After 6 years, my sons are now hitting with both power and control. They are able to handle difficult pitches and go deep in the count.”

How fast of a swing turnaround did you experience with Chas?

“We noticed a marked improvement after 6 weeks of lessons.  It takes a real commitment on the part of the student.  Chas will help develop the  skills, but at the same time makes it clear that his students have to put in the practice necessary to succeed at Baseball.  Any person willing to work at ITS should see good progress with their game.”
